12/31/2022 0 Comments Mod gta 3 pcOver on Nexusmods, BroXe’s mod adds more vehicle variety to the game so that NPCs can now spawn in even more cars, which, of course, you can then steal and drive around the map yourself. But if you still want improvements, the modders, unsurprisingly, have got you covered. San Andreas has quite an impressive variety of vehicles as it is, and thankfully, that’s one thing that the remaster doesn’t mess with. Given how much you’re driving around in these games, this is one mod that you should definitely check out. A similar Better Road Textures mod has been released for GTA 3 as well, and it does the same thing, improving what the roads in Liberty City look like significantly. User Instanity hasn’t focused on Vice City exclusively. They look significantly more detailed with improved textures and better detailing. Nexusmods user Instanity’s Better Road Textures mod does exactly what its name suggests, and improves the visuals for the roads all over Vice City. Jumping into water in San Andreas doesn’t produce the ripples and splashes that you’d expect, but thanks to this mod, that seems to have been fixed now.Īnother mod that tackles specific visual details, but one that has a much wider impact. This one is much more miniscule in comparison to some of the others on the list, in that it addresses one very specific issue. Best of all, the mod also restores the full San Andreas tracklist. Nexusmods user meowsandstuff has uploaded the Uncompressed Sounds of Grand Theft Auto mod, which, as its name suggests, noticeably improves the audio quality in all three games, with each now sounding crisper and sharper. If you’ve noticed issues with the audio in the GTA trilogy, well, you’re not the only one. This mod, for instance, fully restores the entire Vice City tracklist, which means any and all songs from the original can now be brought over into the remaster as well. Many fans have expressed disappointment over the fact that there are some licensed songs that are missing from the tracklist of the GTA remasters, but as you’d expect, modders are on the case. Draw distances are still solid, and yet the cities don’t look like tiny Lego sets from a distance. It’s not as heavy as it was in the originals, but it makes an instant impact. Thankfully, Junion_Djjr’s Fog Distance Fix mod on Mixmods puts the fog back in. On paper, the fact that the GTA trilogy removes the fog that was prevalent in the originals and improves the draw distances of all three games radically should be a good thing, but the fact that you can basically see the entire cities stretching out in front of you makes them seem much smaller than they should. Like the Tommy Vercetti mod (and uploaded by the same user), this mod makes changes to Claude’s facial model to bring him more in line with his look in the original game. Modders have been showing GTA 3 plenty of love as well, and silent protagonist Claude has also received decent improvements. First and foremost, the mod attempts to make Tommy look more like he did in the original Vice City, and it does a pretty good job of it. The changes here are pretty subtle, but still easily apparent when you compare it directly to the remaster. Meanwhile, Vie City protagonist Tommy Vercetti, too, has received a bit of a facelift with this mod by DoctorMicah. There’s still some weird stuff going on here with his neck, as there is in the actual remaster, but it’s still an improvement. This mod, for instance, does a pretty good job of fixing CJ’s facial model by giving his face and all of his hairstyles 4K textures. The character models are one of several areas where the GTA trilogy’s visuals begin to fall apart upon closer inspection, but thankfully, modders have started addressing those issues. QTmodz’s Natural Visions – Texture Overhaul mod makes improvements to shadows, lighting, the skybox, rain effects, and much more and the results are rather impressive. GTA: The Trilogy’s visual overhaul begins showing its cracks once you look at it a little closely, but if you’re looking for a more well-rounded improvement to San Andreas’ graphics, there’s a mod out there for you. Already, there are a number of mods out there that make big and small improvements to the trilogy, and here, we’re going to talk about a few of them. Rockstar made a bit of a mess with GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, to say the least, but whether or not they fix the remasters the way they have said they will, we can be sure that the modding community, as ever, is going to be proactive with those efforts.

12/28/2022 0 Comments Intel s meaningThis technology is currently in Intel’s FPGAs, connecting the FPGA to memory or transceivers or third-party IP, or in Kaby Lake-G, connecting the Radeon GPU to on-package high bandwidth memory. With EMIB however, rather than using a full silicon interposer, Intel equips a substrate with just a small embedded silicon connection, allowing a host chip and a secondary chiplet to connect together with high bandwidth and small distances. The 'brute force' solution here is a silicon interposer, essentially stacking chips on top of a large, 'dumb' silicon die that's in place solely for routing purposes. Because certain high-performance chiplet designs require high-bandwidth links with many more traces than traditional organic chip packaging can support, there is a need for more exotic means to build these dense connections. Intel’s Embedded Die Interconnect Bridge ‘EMIB’ has been a talking point for a couple of years now. EMIB, Foveros, Interposers: Connect the Data Intel has several technologies of its own that it uses. The art of connecting chiplets, however, is all in the packaging. How Intel integrates its own chiplets, with the company confirming it is working on migrating its AI portfolio into chiplet form factors, as well as other third party IP, is going to be an important strategy going forward. Chiplets form the basis of Intel’s current Stratix 10 FPGA product line, and the future of Intel Agilex, as well as consumer products like Kaby Lake G with its HBM chiplet for fast high-speed memory. The story around chiplets is going to be a cornerstone of the semiconductor market for the next generation, being able to provide smaller silicon for specific tasks and connecting them together. Ramune focuses on the art of the chiplet or the packaging in its own right, rather than the specific technologies it goes into, and it was an enlighting discussion. Ramune has spent over twenty years at Intel, working in areas such as transistor definition for 65nm, Intel Labs for technical strategy and wearables, and most recently as heading up Intel’s chiplet strategy for product integration. In a call with Intel last week, we spoke with Ramune Nagisetty, the Director of Intel’s Process and Product Integration, to discuss Intel’s strategy with regard to chiplets and packaging technologies. An Insight into Intel's Strategy on Chiplets and Packaging On a call with Intel's process and product team, the company confirmed a few details about how Intel is pushing the boundaries of new technologies with its upcoming high profile graphics products. While Intel works on getting its main manufacturing process technology on track, it is spending just as much time and effort in researching and developing the rest of the chip ecosystem and how it is all connected. 12/28/2022 0 Comments Halo 3 ratedThe Rookie’s sole goal is to hook up with his squad. A curious mechanic, however, breaks up this slower-paced, somewhat stealthy exploration – flashback missions. It’s no Liberty City or Capital Wasteland, of course, but it is fully explorable (after about half an hour’s play), with no loading required. New Mombasa has been designed to be a sandbox, and is in fact the single largest level Bungie has ever created for a Halo game. Immediately ODST reveals itself: this is not the Halo we’re used to. You see a Covenant patrol – a few Grunts and a Brute – skulking about in search of strays. The Rookie steps out onto the cold urban streets. The only illumination comes from the flames of burning vehicles and flickering street lights. Night has drenched New Mombasa in a pitch black. The drop, somewhat predictably, goes horribly wrong. There are obvious influences from other games, most clearly 2K Games’ BioShock, and distinct tweaks in the tried and trusted Halo formula, but ODST is still very much a Halo game that fans will instantly find familiar. With ODST, it often feels as if Bungie desperately wanted to create something different, but, for whatever reason, wasn’t able to go as far as it wanted. So, is Bungie right? Is Halo 3: ODST much more than an expansion? Is it worth your hard-earned cash? We’ve finished the brand new campaign, checked out all the new weapons, explored the abandoned city streets of New Mombasa, pumped hours into the brand new co-operative multiplayer mode Firefight and killed more Covenant than we could possibly count. Without Halo, would we have enjoyed the brutal online thrills of Modern Warfare or Killzone 2? Now, in the post CoD/Gears of War world, it’s time for Halo to return.Īnd returned it has, this time with Halo 3: ODST, a two-disc release described by Bungie as “much more than an expansion”. Halo 2’s ground-breaking online matchmaking carried Xbox LIVE’s fledgling years on the crest of a wave, breaking only when Halo 3 refined the process further on the Xbox 360. Halo: Combat Evolved made system linked Xboxs fashionable. Arguably Bungie’s most influential innovation, Halo’s multiplayer paved the way for console shooters that followed it. But ask many why they keep flooding back for more, and they’ll answer with one, simple word: multiplayer. Why is Halo great? Answers are varied, and objective. Master Chief is Mario for the console FPS generation. Some two years after Halo 3 broke global entertainment launch records it’s still the most played game on Xbox LIVE. Halo’s enduring popularity is remarkable. 12/28/2022 0 Comments Citrix plugin for macWhen users connect with the Citrix Gateway plug-in, Secure Hub, or Citrix Workspace app, the client software establishes a secure tunnel over port 443 (or any configured port on Citrix Gateway) and sends authentication information. After the first connection, if users log on by using a Windows-based computer, they can use the icon in the notification area to establish the connection. The Citrix Gateway plug-in is installed on the user device. For more information, see Enabling Proxy Support for User Connections. If the user is behind a proxy server, the user can specify the proxy server and authentication credentials. If the credentials are correct, Citrix Gateway finishes the handshake with the user device. Spider-Man Noir can hide and blend into shadows and shoot. Look, you can ignore the somewhat silly excuse: the game is seriously fun. The game tells the tale of four different Spider-Men joined together to help heal a rift in reality from the breaking of a magical McGuffin called the Tablet of Order and Chaos. It also features a killer cast, including Neil Patrick Harris! Not only that, but it features four different Spider characters, each of whom has a different Universe, play style, and story.
